About this piece

The Kensington Solid Elm Dining Table is a timeless, made-to-order dining piece designed to bring warmth, texture and quiet elegance to everyday living. Crafted from elm wood with a fibreglass wood grain base, its natural grain, softly refined form and generous proportions create a beautiful focal point for relaxed family meals, long weekend lunches and considered entertaining.

With its understated silhouette and rich organic character, Kensington feels both classic and contemporary — a dining table made to sit effortlessly within layered, natural interiors for years to come.

A beautifully crafted, high-quality piece of furniture designed to last a lifetime.

Available in 6 different sizes and 5 different stains: Natural, Grey, Walnut, Mocca, Black (shown here in Mocca). The stain is covered by a matt lacquer which has a more modern finish than a shiny lacquer would.

Stain Choices:

Natural is the lightest choice and has a warm honey tone that is soft yet modern.
Grey is as the name suggests, a stain which includes a hint of grey tone for that sophisticated look.
Walnut includes a hint of red to create a wood stain that has a warmth to it.
Mocca is best described as an intense chocolate tone, softer than black yet highlight sophisticated.
Black is as the name suggests a rich black tone.

Materials & Craftmanship

The Kensington Dining Table is crafted from solid elm wood, chosen for its durability, distinctive grain and naturally warm tone. Elm has a beautiful organic texture that gives each piece its own subtle variation, making every table feel individual rather than overly uniform.

The design celebrates the character of the wood rather than disguising it, allowing the grain, tonal movement and natural markings to become part of the table’s charm. Made to order, Kensington reflects a more thoughtful approach to furniture production, with attention given to proportion, finish and longevity.

This is a table designed not only to be used, but to become part of the rhythm of the home — gathering daily marks, memories and moments over time.

Care Instructions

To care for your Kensington Dining Table, wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Clean spills immediately to help prevent staining or water marks.

Use placemats, coasters and trivets to protect the surface from heat, moisture, sharp objects and heavy use. Avoid placing hot dishes, wet glasses or decorative items directly onto the tabletop for extended periods.

Do not use harsh chemical cleaners, bleach, abrasive cloths or silicone-based polish. Keep away from direct heat sources, and excessive moisture. Prolonged direct sunlight may affect the wood over time.

Sustainability

The Kensington Dining Table is made using a solid elm wood tabletop with a fibreglass with wood grain base. Elm is a durable natural material chosen for its strength, texture and timeless appeal. Investing in a solid wood dining table is a more considered alternative to trend-led, disposable furniture, offering a piece that can remain in the home for years when properly cared for.

As a made-to-order item, Kensington also supports a more mindful approach to production, helping reduce unnecessary overstock and encouraging slower, more intentional purchasing.

Natural wood may show knots, grain movement and tonal variation, which should be embraced as part of the material’s authentic character.
