Why you'll love it

The Areia Wall Art adds subtle depth through its hand-painted surface and restrained palette. At a generous scale, it brings character to a wall while sitting comfortably among natural materials and softer furnishings.

About this piece

The Areia Wall Art is a beautifully tactile piece designed to bring softness, depth and quiet texture to your home. Its simple neutral colourway is layered with an abundance of texture, creating a subtle stone-like effect that feels calm, natural and timeless.

Areia is ideal for styling above a sofa, bed, console table, sideboard or fireplace. Its generous scale gives it presence, while the soft tonal palette allows it to layer easily into neutral, natural and contemporary interiors.

Areia is available unframed, with a black floating frame, or with an oak floating frame, allowing you to choose the finish that best suits your space.

The Areia Wall Art has been hand painted by a Danish artist on the finest canvas using acrylic paints. Since each one is hand painted slight variations may occur and therefore each piece is unique.

Materials & care

Materials & craftsmanship

Areia is individually hand painted on canvas using acrylic paints, creating a modern artwork with a richly tactile surface. The simple neutral colourway combines with layered texture to create a soft stone-like effect, adding depth and warmth without relying on bold colour.

Choose the unframed option for a clean, relaxed look, the black floating frame for a more defined contemporary finish, or the oak floating frame for natural warmth. Hanging grooves are embedded into the wooden structure, allowing the artwork to be hung securely in either portrait or landscape orientation. As each piece is painted by hand, small variations in tone, texture and finish should be expected and celebrated.

Care instructions

Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth or feather duster.
Avoid abrasive cleaners, polish or water directly on the canvas or frame.
Keep away from excessive moisture and humidity.
Avoid hanging in prolonged direct sunlight to help preserve the colour and finish.
Handle with care when moving or rehanging, especially around the textured surface, canvas edges and frame corners.

Sustainability

Areia is made using canvas and acrylic paints, with a hand-painted textured finish that gives the artwork a more individual and lasting quality than mass-produced printed pieces.

The soft neutral palette and stone-like texture have been chosen for longevity and versatility, allowing the piece to sit comfortably within changing interiors over time. The choice of unframed, black floating frame or oak floating frame also makes Areia easy to adapt as your home evolves.
