The design story

Structured lines. Generous comfort.

Aldon balances a structured outer frame with wide, chunky cushions, creating a chair that feels architectural without losing its sense of ease. Its slim black metal legs lighten the generous one-seat form, while the higher back gives it a confident, supportive profile. Place it alone in a reading corner or alongside a sofa in a calm, layered living space.

01

A bold one-seat form

Generous proportions and substantial cushions give Aldon the presence of a statement chair while keeping it designed for one.

02

Support that reaches higher

The higher back provides additional support, making Aldon especially comfortable for reading and well suited to taller sitters.

03

Swedish design, European craft

Designed in Sweden and made in Europe, Aldon combines a clean contemporary structure with FSC®-certified solid European wood in its load-bearing parts.

The comfort profile

Generous comfort with higher-back support

Aldon pairs wide, chunky cushions with a higher back designed to provide reassuring support, including for taller sitters. Choose Feather Soft for a cold-foam seat finished with a feather top, or Synthetic Down for cold foam topped with synthetic down. The corresponding loose back cushion combines either feather or synthetic down with ball fibre for a softer, more relaxed feel.

Materials & craftsmanship

Built around strength and contrast

Designed in Sweden and made in Europe, Aldon is built with FSC®-certified solid European wood in all load-bearing parts. Slim black metal legs form part of its supporting structure, while no-sag springs provide the foundation beneath the seat. The structured outer shell contrasts with wide, softly filled cushions to create Aldon’s distinctive architectural shape.

A load-bearing foundation

FSC®-certified solid European wood forms Aldon’s load-bearing structure, with no-sag springs supporting the seat.

Cushions designed for everyday use

On fabric-upholstered models, the loose seat and back cushions can be reversed to help encourage more even use.

Fabric & finish

Soften or define its structure

Aldon’s structured outer frame and generous cushions respond beautifully to different upholstery choices. Textured fabrics soften its architectural lines and create a more relaxed mood, while smoother fabrics or leather give the silhouette a sharper, more tailored expression. Planning your space

A generous chair with real presence

Aldon is a generously proportioned one-seater rather than a compact occasional chair. Its structured frame, substantial cushions and higher back give it presence in a living room or reading corner. Allow enough surrounding space for its architectural outline to remain visible.

Good to know

Before Aldon arrives

From choosing your preferred comfort and upholstery to planning space and checking access, delivery and returns, find the practical information you need before ordering your Aldon Armchair.

Ask us about this piece

When will my upholstered furniture arrive?

Delivery times vary by piece. Upholstered made to order pieces can take 8-10 weeks. Once your furniture is ready, our specialist delivery partner will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date

What should I check before delivery?

Please check that your chosen piece will fit through doorways, hallways and staircases, as well as in its intended space. Use the product dimensions to plan the delivery route, and contact us before ordering if you have any questions about access.

Can I return my upholstered furniture?

Return eligibility depends on whether you choose from our standard options or request a bespoke piece. Please review our Furniture Returns Policy before ordering for full details of eligibility, time limits and collection charges. Contact our team before arranging a return.

What should I do if my furniture arrives damaged?

Please inspect your furniture on arrival and let the delivery team know about any visible damage. Contact us as soon as possible with your order number and clear photographs so we can help resolve the issue.

Caring for your piece

Vacuum regularly using a soft upholstery attachment to remove dust and keep the fabric or leather looking its best. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth and avoid rubbing, as this can push marks further into the material. Keep the armchair away from direct sunlight and heat sources where possible to help protect the upholstery from fading or drying.

For fabric upholstery, plump and rotate the cushions regularly where possible to help maintain their shape. For leather upholstery, use appropriate leather care products and follow specialist care guidance. The Aldon has a fixed cover, so covers should not be removed for washing.
